PLAYWRIGHT CLI · CHECKED OCTOBER 15, 2026

A new tool at this address.

TracePair is an independent Playwright CLI capture-comparison tool. It is not operated by Playwright, Microsoft or the former organization associated with this domain.

Domain identity

This is a new independent developer-tool site. It is not affiliated with FATEBD.COM, registered charity 1179076. The official Charity Commission record describes that organization. We do not represent its activities, accept donations for it or use its former identity to describe this software.

The tool is called TracePair because it pairs two supplied recordings. Its scope is documented in Record & import and Method & limits. A matching comparison is not an endorsement or certification from the upstream project.

Input stays in this browser tab

Selected files are read locally and parsed in a Web Worker. The retained model contains selected action, request, source-line and version fields. Headers, cookies, response bodies, script expressions, DOM snapshots, screenshots, console content and error text are discarded from that model. The tool does not execute imported expressions or render imported HTML.

Input and comparison state are not saved to localStorage, IndexedDB or an application account. Clear files removes them from the active comparison; reloading or closing the tab also clears the application state. This is not a promise of forensic memory erasure. Browser history, downloaded files and browser-managed caches are outside that clearing action.

The site and native example files are served by Cloudflare. Normal hosting requests involve network metadata such as your IP address. Loading an example fetches static files from this site; importing your own files does not send their contents to Cloudflare or another service. No analytics script, Stripe checkout or model API is part of this tool.

Exports are a deliberate disclosure

A default review contains selected intervals, all unassigned requests, source-line references, endpoint aliases, counts, methods, statuses and timings. It omits raw URLs, selectors, call IDs and filenames. The explicit raw-identifier option adds those fields to the preview and download. A generic endpoint alias can still disclose a relationship or pattern. Neither export mode is a privacy certification.

Review the contents before sharing. Sensitive applications can encode information in paths, selectors, labels or unusual metadata. Do not send production traces or credentials to the correction address. A minimal sanitized reproduction and the observed format version are usually enough to describe a parser problem.

Product relationships

WebTraceCheck and CleanTempMail share the operator of this site. The signup reproduction guide explains their optional use in a fresh-browser check and a non-sensitive staging inbox test. You can use your own browser and test mailbox instead. The comparison does not require either product.

Product links include fixed source, topic and placement campaign labels. They do not include imported data, source filenames, trace URLs or exported findings. Each linked service has its own policies and limits. We do not claim that referral clicks establish a successful signup or email delivery.
